Communication

Communication Medium and its timeslot table — how and when a channel is reachable.

Communication-medium routing entities.

What it does

Communication defines the channels through which a business is reachable and the hours each is staffed. It is used by CRM and Support for routing and by telephony integrations to associate an agent with a medium.

Key features

  • Communication Medium — a named channel (phone, email, chat) with a type and provider.
  • Timeslots — per-medium availability windows and the users who staff them.

Entity relationships

Each diagram below is one connected cluster of entities. Edges are labelled with the fieldname that carries them — see relationship notation for how to read the crow’s feet.
